Persistence in creativity

As a progression from my slump post last month, I have been plugging along. I’ve been practicing a lot of hand embroidery. My goal is to open a little Etsy shop in February.

I really enjoy embroidery. Sometimes it feels so natural and goes so well that I slip into “the zone” very quickly. Other times it’s tedious and I make mistakes and it’s straight up work. But overall it’s giving me a lot of joy and pleasure.

  1. etsy’s absolutely flooded with embroidered slogans in hoops, perhaps you should sew something a bit less run of the mill? I saw some lovely jewelery that always sold quickly, exquisite teeny weeny set in pendants , its worth spending more time and charging more
